Gila Valley Temple Open House

This past weekend we got to experience something really cool. We got to go through the Gila Valley Temple. It was BEAUTIFUL!! It was the highlight of our weekend! Here is a recap of the entire weekend.
Friday morning we got up to leave and looked outside to this....
Yeah CRAZY!! Are you kidding it is the end of APRIL!! It snowed all morning, it was still snowing when we left to Thatcher at 9:30. We decided to make it a weekend trip and I was worried we were going to freeze in Thatcher.

We met up with Spencer's Bro and Sis-in-law right when we got there. It was Keith's (Spencer's Bro) birthday so we had fun celebrating it in the mountains. We went on a picnic and a nice little hike. The weather was perfect with a Jacket.

After our hike we stopped by Pres. Spencer W. Kimball's house. We had to take a picture with the Spencer's infront. Then the reason for the entire trip!! We thought it would be fun to have all the Forsberg's come to the Open house. We were right! It was a blast and wonderful. I couldn't help but look around the celestial room and feel so blessed to be part of such a wonderful family. You don't often get the chance to have almost everyone there together. The last time we were all in the temple together was for our wedding almost 4 years ago. The kids weren't there so that was a special experience to watch there faces and excitement.
The Temple was seriously small but so elegant and perfect! Spencer pointed out to me that this is probably where Madison will get married unless we have some drastic move. We know that's a LONG time away but it will be exciting.
We had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to make MANY visits back! Thanks Amanda and Garet for letting us all come stay.
I had to include this picture... Garet and Amanda made us Juicy Lucy's for lunch! It was awesome, even with Mexican coke!

It's more fun...

Living with my parents it was so much fun to have Amanda and Paige come visit. Instead of just hanging out with them when they come to visit Sierra Vista we got to spend the entire time with them. We went on bike rides, went shopping, went on a picnic, ate lots of food, went running, played at the park, made the BEST chocolate covered strawberries (thanks Amanda), and had a blast. Here are some pictures of the weekend....

The BEST 6 months ever!!

Madison just turned 7 months old!! WOWZERS!! Of course I have a million pictures to share and little updates.
I spy with my little eye.... Madi's arm! She still loves to sleep with her head covered. It makes me laugh!

This was her on St. Patrick's Day. Don't you love the drool!

Aunt Jessica let us use this toy and Madison loves it!. We have connected a lot of toys to it and she plays in it for a good while.

Yes, she still sucks her thumb when she is tired. She really likes to have a blanket or her bunny in her hand but her dress worked this time.

This is Madi's adopted Grandpa Brooks. He lived down the street from us before we moved, but we had him over for dinner on Easter.

Madi likes to watch baby Einstein. It keeps her occupied for a little while.
This is what Madi is doing:
Still rolling everywhere!!
Does Push-ups/ planks- NO JOKE!! I am trying to get it on video. Its funny!
Gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth
Just started eating baby food: Cereal, squash, green beans, loves sucking on celery sticks, and eats graham crackers (makes a HUGE mess)
Starting to spit up more and more! I thought it was suppose to stop soon!
LOVES going outside
She also loves swimming. (she puts her head under too)

Madison's first Easter...

Even thought she wasn't sure what was going on Easter morning when we looked in our Easter baskets, Madison was very excited to see what she got.
Her Daddy showed her what fun stuff the Easter bunny brought her. Then showed me what he got in his Easter basket. Uncle Joe helped Madison find the eggs when we did a big Easter Egg hunt!

So Long, Farwell...

It's bitter-sweet to be moving!! I LOVE LOVE my house. This was the first house Spencer and I ever lived in. We put in a lot of work and time into painting, decorating, and LOTS yard work. Now we get to do it again starting from scratch! For the next 6-9 months we will be living with my parents. As always there are pros and cons living with your Parents or in-laws.
This house is fun of fun memories and good laughs! I am sad to leave it behind! I love my neighbors and the kids all of the neighborhood. Spencer just reminds me that we will get to make more fun memories in our next house. I'm not sure I can get better neighbors! We will keep you posted when we actually get to break ground, it will probably be a couple of months
Thank You everyone for all your help!! We are so grateful to have such good friends and family!
Yep this was our "moving van/truck." It was AWESOME!! My dad cleaned out his 24ft house trailer and hooked it to his truck and it worked perfect!
