Christmas 2011

Like most of you, we LOVE Christmas. We had our traditional Christmas Eve with the Haymore family that lives here or that was visiting. We had our big Mexican feast and Christmas program.


After the Program Spencer and Jared went and delivered some gifts and got to help spread the Christmas spirit.


We had so much fun this year with the entire Steve Haymore family. It had been a few year since Jared had been gone on his mission. This year we decided to all have the same matching pajama pants.


Christmas morning was so much fun with all the little kids. We had a total of 16 people sleeping at my parents house so it made for lots of presents and a big visit from Santa.


As always we were spoiled and well taken care of. It was a busy Christmas with LOTS of family. That night we all go together again for a big Christmas dinner and enjoyed the kids everywhere playing, the boys watching football, and the girls chatting. It's always fun around the Holidays with Family and Friends.
We are excited to see all the Forsberg family for New Years. (post will be coming)

Baby details:
It seems like we found out along time ago! (beginning of October)
With Madi I got sick in the evenings but felt great during the day, with this one I have felt yucky ALL day but "sick" late afternoon/ evenings. It sure made if fun sometimes!
I am 4 months (16 1/2 wks)
We are super excited!
I am due June 14th (my Grandpa Lunt's birthday)

Thanksgiving

This was the year we got to spend Thanksgiving with the Forsberg Family. We had a fun time with all the Aunt's. Uncles, Cousins, Nana, and Granddad at the cabin. Spencer left to go hunting after we ate Thursday so we decided to go up to the cabin Tuesday afternoon. We got up there in time to meet my in-laws at Olive Garden. (YUMMY) IT was fun to enjoy time at the cabin.

We started our Thanksgiving off with the 1st annual turkey trot. Here is Madi in the stroller...Dinner is ready... (that's the dishes preparing for 27 people)

Start off...

It was a great way to start off the Christmas season. We went to the Polar Express in Williams, with all 27 Forsberg's.

I can't wait....

I'm so excited for Christmas!! I can't wait to listen to Chirstmas music, decorate the tree, put up lights and decorations, finish Christmas shopping, gingerbread houses, wrap presents, make goodies, eat the goodies, get dressed for cold weather, sing Christmas songs, Christmas parties, all the family traditions, and all the fun that comes with Christmas. Next week we get to do it all!!! I am one of those people that waits for Thanksgiving before Christmas. This year is a little exception, we are going to the Polar Express. That mean we will start Christmas next week by watching the movie (Polar Express) before we leave. I'm so excited!!!

I'm so excited!!! They are thinking we will be able to move in at the end of February!!

13.1

This past weekend was the big marathon weekend up in the Grand Canyon. It was an AWESOME race and a great weekend! Here is a quick run through of the weekend. We left Thursday afternoon and drove to Flagstaff stayed at the cabin and got up early Friday morning and drove the rest of the way to the Grand Canyon. We decided to go walk around the rim and have a picnic.
We were enjoying our picnic until we REALLY got attacked by a squirrel. Lets be honest, most of the time its like...."Oh look at the cute little squirrel." Nope, not this time we were grabbing our stuff and moving because it was not scared and trying to eat our food. Poor Madison was so confused when he tried eating her food. It was a one of a kind for sure!
After we enjoyed the afternoon of experiencing the Grand Canyon, the Babysitters came in handy (Megan- my sis and her friend Kacey)
Spencer and I checked in for the race, went to a movie, and then we had the race orientation. This race was the best organized race I have every participated in. The check in bags were full or goodies and the shirts are very nice. After orientation they have a dinner for all the race participants. It was great! Then we got ready for the big event.....Here are the highlights Spencer and I remember.....

Lots...of...fun..on... HALL-o-WEEN

I love Halloween. It's always fun to dress up and see everyone else dressed up. This year was no different. We dressed up and went to Trunk-or-treat.

Here is Madison waiting to go to Trunk-or-treat. The poor baby has been sick for almost 3 weeks. Anything she eats it comes right back up. We have been to the Dr and he said its a nasty virus that's going around and has asted up to 3 weeks for some kids. Wednesday we go back to the Dr. She still dressed up and was happy.

She had fun getting candy only if she saw that's what they were giving her, otherwise she just wanted to walk around.


After we went back to Grandma's house and had pizza and celebrated Jared's birthday. (Yes that's a sucker in Madison's mouth. That's what she wanted and loved every bit of it, she hasn't gotten to eat that much food)

Like I said I love to dress up... Spencer surprised me by bringing these costumes home for us. (thanks Keith and Steph)

Our little family... Madison was not happy, she wanted another sucker but I had to draw the line after 3. She already had a stomach ache!

She wasn't enjoying it as much as we did. It sure was cute! We had the perfect pumpkin! Spencer's mother gave it to us for our anniversary. It was a perfect pumpkin that I hated to even carve.

It was a miracle....

A good while ago my knee started to act up. What? I've NEVER had knee problems! What horrible timing! It put a MAJOR damper on my marathon training. (I'm going to die: another story) Anyways, the night before the Bisbee stair climb my knee was very irritated. (from my soccer game: another post later) So I was not really looking forward to the stair climb and thought I was going to have to walk. (parts) Right before the race (literally) I saw my friend Jamie who is very into the natural oils, ect. She rubbed some "dark blue essential oil" all over my knee. Let me tell you folks... It was awesome... I ran without too much pain! I could still feel the grinding and popping but it was tolerable. Jamie saved the day!

It was a new course this year so I couldn't compare my time to the past years. The running part I was prepared for but I didn't do much stairs to train. (because of my knee) This year there were just under 200o runners. I got 124th over all, 3rd in my age group.

So PROUD....

Spencer signed up for a race and ran it all by himself!! haha That makes him sound like a little kid. For those of you that don't know... Spencer HATES to run, or should I say he USE TO hate running. He came home one day and told me he signed up for a 10mile run in Tucson. (Oct 9th)I was lost for words! He said it was to help him prepare for the half marathon that he has in a couple of weeks.

After the race...

He is AWESOME!!! It was a great race, very organized, lots of people, and lots of food. I am so proud!! I never thought I would hear these words from his mouth..."You know I really like running around 6 miles. After that I wouldn't say I really enjoy it." Did you hear that...he said "I really like running around 6 miles." I know my jaw hit the floor too.

6 months from now....

We will be in our house!!!

Yep... they broke ground on the house!!! YEAH, we are so excited! They say around March we will be in.... I'll keep you posted on the work in progress.

After 8 weeks....

YEAH!! After 8 weeks Madison got her cast off. (Oct 4th) As you can see her arm was sick!! All the skin was peeling off and she had nasty build up of stinky sweat and food in her cast. It smelt horrible! She uses her arm like it was never broken.

How in the world...

How could you sleep like that? She has always been a wild sleeper.

2 years???

That's right.... 2 years have come and gone. Elder Haymore is home! He came home Sept 29 from Chile Vina Del Mar Mission. He is doing great and trying to adjust to the "World."

Here are all the nieces and nephew with there signs and shirts. (plus Jordan and Meg) This was the first time Madison met Jared and really didn't want much to do with him. Now she loves him.

It sure is fun to have Jared live with us.
The family that was at the airport to great him. He also had friends there but I didn't get a picture of "everyone." (Someone send it to me)
It was so fun to see him again. We were all waiting in the lobby and playing. All the sudden someone looked up and said, "There is Jared." Sure enough there he was! Jordan (my bro) ran and gave him a huge hug. Then all the little kids followed and Jared made his entrance. There was a lady sitting in the same area as all of us and she started crying when she saw the excitement from us all. She told us, "I don't even know you guys, but that was a wonderful welcome home. What a great family." We were counting down the days to see him.
