One of my favorite times...

I love when we put her down for a nap or for bed. Not because I can get more done while she is asleep, even though it's nice. I like our new little routine, it's the easiest thing. Once she gets in bed he have to put all these animals around her, then sing a few songs, then she folds her arms and we have prayer. Even if its a nap we say prayer. She is such a great example.

We looked out the Window and what did we see.....

SNOW!!! Look what we had on Sunday! Even though it was snowing she still wanted to go with Jordan to feed the horses.

Another Step Closer....

Well we are another step closer to moving into our house. I remember when they started I was amazed how fast things were going. Then there was this break... Now it seems like they are progressing again. I am so ready for my own house. I have loved living with my parents and believe me Madison has REALLY loved it, but I am ready to have all my stuff, organize all my stuff, decorate, ect. Here are some updates on the house:
The built in entertainment center... It's not totally done, the bottom three opening are going to have cabinets and then the two skinny ones on the side of the tv opening will have cabinets too. (Spencer designed it)
They are done painting the inside of the house. the walls are a brown tan color and the ceilings, doors, and baseboards (aren't on yet), are cream.

The cabinets were put in (minus the cabinet facing)... Here is part of the kitchen, although they are going to fix the back wall. You can see that the microwave isn't lined up with where the stove will be. (on top of each other)
Last picture... They started laying the tile yeah!! Here is just a sample they had on the floor. They just started in the bathrooms. (I will post some pictures later)
The tile guy said it will be finished in about 3 weeks, then the carpet, fix the cabinets, do the driveway, light fixtures, paint the outside, counter tops, and a bunch of other little stuff. Now we are looking at hopefully being in the house sometime in April. (my fingers are crossed)

This little girl is so stinking cute!! I can't get enough of her. It is so fun watching her grow and develop a fun, cute, and outgoing personality. I think what I love is people say she is just like me. (Except when she is crying of throwing a fit, right?) haha

Here are some random updates of my baby/ Daddy's little girl (sorry no pictures)

She LOVES dogs, especially my parents dog, Spike. He follows her around the yard, she follows him. He eats dog food, so does Madi. Madi eats a sandwich so does Spike. They are good buddy's! Dogs are a love of hers!

She also enjoys going on walks. Either a stroller ride or her getting to wonder around she loves it. She know where all the dogs are on my parents street. She is facinated with everything and has to touch everything. Did I mention she caught a stink bug the other day. She was so excited, and laughed as it crawled up her arm. (Does that sound like me? haha)

She LOVES food! (just like me) She really loves everything. The other night she ate a chillle reano(sp?) We have been so lucky! The thing is... she eats a TON of food, I'm not joking... More than me and sometimes Spence. We are now watching her portions....haha Some of her favorites are: spaghetti, oatmeal, yogurt, oranges, apricots, tuna, meat, cherry tomatoes, any corn dogs.

She likes to push her chair over to the counter and see what I'm making or cooking. She just stands on the chair and talks no stop wanting to taste and grab everything.

Her new favorite toys are her baby and stroller. She got them for her birthday and has always played with them but now she wants to take them where ever we go. Her mean mom won't let her take them outside.

This girl has NO fear!!! Some people laugh and some probably think I'm a bad mom. For example... at the park she climbs all over the jungle gyms and goes down all the slides, tries climbing the sides and half the time people are like, "Is that your daughter, she is trying to climb that or... she just fell off...." Most of the time my response is, "Yeah, she is fine, thanks." She has no fear of the horses, climbing, or chickens. BUT... we discovered something she is afraid of... the surround sound. We were watching a movie and she didn't like the loudness of if. she was crying and trying to hide in me. We turned the surround sound off and she was fine.

Did I mention she climbs....
She has has a total of;
1 broken arm
5 black eyes
3 big lips
always has more than one scratch or bruise (commonly on her face)

She has started to copy what we say. Sometimes it sounds good, other times it is a different language. Some words she has mastered are: Mommy, Da Da, treat, cookie, bye, hi, and more. She says a lot more but not everyone understands her. Those few words are very clear. She sure is a jabber box.

She has a love for shoes. At least once a day she brings me all her shoes out of her room. Right now her favorite ones are these pink snow boots. They are huge on her but she walks in them and likes them first thing in the morning.

I love that she goes to almost anyone and is happy. (unless she is tired) She is such a happy girl with a big imagination. We love watching her play... if only we could read her little mind.

Alright....

I'm sorry it has taken a while for me to post. Life has been a little crazy around here. So if you haven't heard we are having..... a... GIRL!! When we were waiting in the waiting room at the Dr. office Spencer was still convinced we were having a Boy. I honestly had no clue what it was. This pregnancy has been a lot different than with Madison. I was really only sick with her from like 5:30pm until the morning. I had a hard time keeping food down after that time too. I really was tired with Madison, to the point where I would fall asleep while on the computer or stretching. Although I vomiting more with Madi I never lost weight. Although the best part was as 12 weeks I was feeling great. With this pregnancy I have been nauseated 24-7 and it lasted forever! I finally started feeling better after Christmas, around 18 weeks.
Anyways, when we were getting the sonogram the baby didn't really cooperate very well. It wasn't as wild as Madison was. If didn't want to move and didn't want to look at us. After some playing with my tummy, the nurse said... I think your having another princess. Spencer said, "oh okay." I started laughing and was excited. After we finally got "her" to move she was a little more friendly. We got to play with her and take lots of pictures for about 45min. After the nurse left, while waiting for the Dr, Spencer said, "Marlee I am so excited to have 2 little girls. It will be fun to come home from work and have them there. I Love having Madison, and can't wait for another. I just don't want all girls." I understood and agreed but laughed. Then he said, "they better not be moody and full of drama." Then I really laughed. All in all we are both excited and can't believe how fast the time has gone. We can't believe we are halfway. Here is a picture I promised some of you... me at 20wks/ 5 months. I can TOTALLY agree that with the second baby you sure "pop" a little sooner. I looked at pictures.... believe me.

It's time....

Tomorrow is the big day!! WE get to find out what we are having. BOY or GIRL... It seems about even with guesses so far. It's so funny to me when people say..."What do you think it is, Mother's usually have that instinct." haha I guess I am missing that part. I have no idea what it is but really I'm happy with either one. Some days I say Boy other days I say Girl. Spence says its totally a boy.
