2 months old...

Makenzie is such a good baby. People aske me if it's hard having 2 kids or if I have adjusted to having 2 kids. Honestly, it has been easy!! Makenzie makes it easy. She is a great baby! The fun/ hard part is adjusting to a 2 year old.

Makenzie loves:
the stroller
sleeping (sleeps from around 9:30pm- 8am)
being swaddled
talking/ "cooing" (Madi loves it)
eating (she will take a bottle too)
just relaxing- She is such a content baby that I don't hold her much because she is just fine on the floor, in her swing, in her car seat, or my bed. I have tried to hold her more often now because I love holding her but it is nice to get stuff done.
her pacifier (love it)
She does love to be held also
She has started to roll over, which means no more putting her on the couch or unbuckeled in her bouncer. (she is asleep in this picture)
She is such a smiley little girl! This isn't a smile but a funny little face that got caught on camera.
She loves her Sister. Sometimes she is a little scared of her but she can always make her smile. Madison loves playing with her too.We love this little girl! We can't imagine life without her. It seems like she has been with our family longer than 2 months. We all are attahed to her. The other day at aerobics a lady pretended to take Kenzie home and Madison didn't like that. She started crying and kept taking me over to the Lady holding Kenzie and would say "No, me baby," "Mommy get Kenzie." We all love her so much!

1 month old...

Wow, I can't believe she is a month old. It is had to picture our family without her.
Her stats were: 9 .3lbs 21 inches long
A little about Makenzie:
still sleeps a lot
nurses great
loves the car and stroller
doesn't love the bath
great baby!
My Mother-in-Law made this little cocoon for Makenzie. I loved it for pictures and Makenzie loved sleeping in it. I will keep it so in the future if I have anymore girls they can take a picture in it too. -Thanks Diana Also a thanks to my sis-in-law Katie for taking the pictures.

Mama I go...

"Mama I go potty," is a famous phrase around our house. About 3 weeks ago I came home from mutual and Madi's diaper is in the middle of the hallway. I called out for Spencer to see what was going on. He said she took her clothes and diaper off and ran to the toilet. She climbed on and went all by herself. She has been interest in the toilet for a while now and loves to sit on it but most of the time wouldn't take her diaper off. So... we decided to try potty training her. She did do good the first 2 days. No accidents except for one, she forgot to take her panties off and sat on the toilet. I wasn't fast enough to help her that time. (I was feeding Makenzie.) Anyways, then the third day we had 2 accidents during the day then I left that night to soccer practice and when I came home Spencer had put a diaper on her. I asked what happened and he said that she had gone through 4 pairs on panties and he was done. My favorite part was when he said, "I would ask her if she needed to go potty and she would say no." I just laughed. Then the next morning when Madi got up I said lets go put your panties on and she refused. She didn't want anything to do with her panties or the toilet. I put up a fight until around lunch. I decided I was done, I cleaned all her panties and put them away. My plan was to potty train her after our trip to Lake Powell (end of Sept) but we decided to first move her to a "big girl bed" after that trip and then potty train her before the holidays. I am not in a huge rush, she is not even 2 yet, but in 2 weeks she will be.

Weekend get away...

We got back from San Diego on Sunday then left Thursday again to Tucson to stay in a resort with some of my family for the weekend. We were tired but it didn't keep us from having a good time.
Here is Madi and her cousin Paige. They were best bud's on this trip.

Claire and Makenzie shared a bed. They are 2 months apart. (for some reason the picture won't turn, sorry)
We spent a lot of time at the pool. Everyone had fun there... (Spencer, Jordan, Garet, and Jared)Some other fun things we did; celebrating Jordan's 15th birthday, going on a walk, Madi loves playing at the play ground with Jared and Jordan, relaxing, eating yummy food, and having some good laughs.

Forsberg Reunion

This year we got to spend an entire week in San Diego with the Forsberg family. Here is lots of pictures to tell about our trip...
We spent 3 days on the beach and loved every second. I cold have spent every day there. This is most of the family just hanging out, relaxing, getting some rays, eating, all while the kids played.
Madison sure loves her cousins. She had so much fun playing in the sand with them. They would build a castle and she would smash it, they still played great. (Mallory, Hunter, Madi, Mason, Tyler, and Conner)
Madison loves the water but had never been to the beach before. We were curious how she would like the ocean. As soon as we got there she was running in and out of the water. We had to stand right next to her and try to hold her hand. She would get trampled by a wave and it wouldn't faze here. She was in heaven until... Seaweed got stuck on her. She panicked, screamed and didn't want anything to do with the water until the last day. It was kinda nice not having to worry as much with that. Instead she would play in the sand. She LOVED it.

We took a little break from the beach and spent a day at Sea World. We had a blast. (Spencer, Nana, Makenzie, Madi, Stephanie, Conner, and Tyler) We had perfect weather. Not to hot and not to cold. We enjoyed looking at all the sea creatures, the shows, eating churros, and being together)
Some of you know Madison is pretty fearless. In this picture I grabbed her before she tried to climb in the water with the starfish. (Stephanie, Conner, Madi, Me, Carter, and Tyler)
Love this face! This was after she felt the starfish. (after I explained we can swim with them)
The group that went to Sea World. The family all split ways between the 3 parks; Disneyland, Knottsberry farm, Sea World. (Madi, Spence, Me, Makenzie, Tyler, Carter, Jessica, Charlotte, Sean, Nana, Stephanie, and Conner)
We ended the long fun day with Shamu's night show. It was good but I think I actually enjoy the daytime show better. Madi loved Shamu. She still talks about him.
Then we went back to the beach...
Stephanie (my sis-in-law) had some skills on the boogie board. I loved it once I got the hang of it.
Spencer and his brother Keith going to catch some waves.
One afternoon we spent hanging out at San Clemente Pier. We had some yummy fish-n-chips and enjoyed bring with everyone. Once again perfect weather...
On the way home we stopped for ice cream. It was the first time we let Madi eat it in the car... can you see why?
We had a great time! The resort was very nice. We enjoyed swimming, hot tubing, playing volleyball, playing games, having BBQ's, and great walks.

Two cute...

I really enjoy having these two little girls around. Here are some fun pictures of my girls....
Madison is such a silly energized little girl. There is never a boring moment around.

Daddy and his two girls! Madi feel asleep watching baseball with her Daddy while Mommy was doing dishes. Madison loves her Daddy and I am sure Kenzie will too.

Makenzie is such a great baby. People always joke that they have never heard her cry. She does but not very often.

Madison loves Makenzie. It is so fun having 2 girls. We love them so much.

Old Man??

Spencer turned the dirty 30! I can't believe it! I remember when my parents were in their 30's and thinking it was so old. Now I have a totally different mind frame. Don't get me wrong it is crazy that my husband is 30!! Talk about CRAZY!!
We started the day with Madison and I decorating with balloons and signs. Then he opened his presents. This is part of what Madison got him he was really excited... haha

Then we made him a yummy breakfast, oatmeal pancakes (he loves them) with strawberries and whip cream.

I'm HORRIBLE and didn't take any pictures the rest of the day. Spencer, Makenzie and I went to dinner. Then we had some friends over to hangout, eat, and of course most of the night we laughed. Madi had her first sleep over at Grandma's house. Happy 30th Birthday Spencer!! We love you more than you will every know!
