Madison's 1st time in Phoenix

We had a great weekend full of fun! Every year Spencer and his Brothers go on a fishing trip to the Colorado River. This year Madison and I stayed at Nana's (my mother-in-law) house while they were gone. We had a great time meeting all the cousins and friends. Spencer and his Brother's left Thursday night for the trip. I got to hangout with my sister-in-law's Stephanie, Wendy, and all the kids. Friday morning we got to go to the pumpkin patch with most of the cousins. (we missed u Katie Reese, and Mallory) We went in the corn mazes, petting zoo, had a picnic, and of course got the pumpkins. We had lots of fun and we will have some much more fun when Madison can enjoy it too. She sure was a trooper!






That night Madison and I went to visit 2 of my old college buddies! It was so fun to see Sammy, Christi, and her new baby Westin (1 month older than Madison) We had LOTS of good laughs and enjoyed yummy Olive Garden.

Saturday morning Madison and I made the trip to Mesa. We went and visited Aunt Jan, Uncle Flint, Cooper, and Arlee. We went to a ribbon store... AWESOME!! I could have spent like a million dollars! It was fun to see them!!

Sunday we had a fun time going back to our old ward and seeing lots of friends. We ate a yummy Sunday Dinner with the most of the Family and headed home.It was fun to watch all the cousins love Madison. It was a fun weekend! Thanks EVERYONE!!!

Saturday night we had a fun time decorating Halloween cookies!!! All the boys/ men went to Tucson to the UofA game and the girls had a fun night out of decorating halloween cookies, watching Halloween movies, eating dinner and lot of candy, just enjoying everyones company!!!

1 Month

Madison is 1 month old already, actually a month plus a week. She is the seriously the highlight of our lives!! Spencer and I love her!! Today we went to the Dr for her month check up and she is looking good!! She has gained weight!!!! I can now go back to feeding her every 3 hrs instead of every 2. She weighs 8.15, almost 9lbs. She has continued to grow length wise! Right when the Dr walked in he said, My Madison you have gotten taller!! She was 22 1/2 inches. Maybe she will be tall! I would love that! She would make one heck of a volleyball player, basketball player, and 400, 800 meter runner!! Here are a lot of pictures we have taken randomly.

The other day I put her on the bed while I was folding laundry, she just played there and looked around. When I was done she was still very happy so I cleaned a 2 bathrooms, vacuumed, did dishes, and put all the laundry away. I checked on her frequently and this is what I found....
A happy baby! When I was done I went back to check on her and this is how I found her..
Sound asleep! She was sound sound asleep! No crying or anything!!!

These two last pictures don't even look like Madison!! Last night Spencer and I were having fun with the million and one faces she makes! These two were funny! I bet you would agree!!! She will hate these when she gets older! She makes some cute faces too! Those will be posted when I can capture them on camera. One of my favorite is right before she cries her little frown. (sad but cute)

A New Hobby

I remembered Spencer got me some roller blades but wouldn't let me use them until after Madison was born. 2 weeks after having her my door bell rang and there was Bryna and Camille (my cousins) with their roller blades on. I was so excited... ran back inside got mine on and we went for a ride. Poor Camille had two kids. I had so much fun! I hadn't been on those things since... I'm not even sure. Since then we have had many fun rides!! It is harder than you think!! Especially those hills.

Conference Weekend...

We got to enjoy conference at the cabin. We love Conference! I love having questions answered and listening to the amazing testimonies from amazing people! It's always a plus to go where we don't have phone service, have fresh air, lots to eat, and family to see. Saturday was a little cold and rainy. We don't have a heater in the cabin but it stayed pretty warm. Between conference sessions we bundled up and enjoyed the rain on the porch, went for a short walk, and ate lots of food!! Here is Madi all bundled up warm!! She looked so cute!

Sunday was a beautiful day! We enjoyed the 1st session of conference then went on a hike to Mormon Springs. This was Madison's first time in the backpack. She loved it!!

We got back just in time to grill up some ribs and steak before the second session of Conference.

Conference is ALWAYS a highlight! I LOVE conference!! It's like Christmas... I look forward to it for so long then when it's over I am sad it went to fast and I didn't get a chance to soak it all in!!!
I am excited for the conference ensign. I love reading the talks over and over! I also get to read the ones I didn't get to listen to as well as I would have liked... I love Madison.

New post OVERLOAD....

Kristal came to visit!!! This is one of my BESTEST friends ever! Kristal came and stayed with us this past Thursday and Friday. She made breakfast for us, changed diapers, went to the store with us, and helped me babysit!

We love Kristal and hope she comes back soon!!
