Madison's 1st ....HAIR CUT

BEFORE

Yep, she had her first hair cute already. Recently she has started to spit up more, drool constantly, and look kinda scuzzy so we decided to cut the hair. It really has made a HUGE difference!

AFTER

Yes I did it in the bath tub. She was staying still so we went at it. It makes her hair look so much thicker!! She got a lot of compliments today at church.

Where is Madi??

The other day I was sorting through her clothes, changing out sizes, which I HATE doing! I look at some of the clothes and think, wow, that's going to be huge on Madison but then she fits in it. I just hate the fact she is getting big. I also hate putting all the cute clothes that she only got to wear a dozen times in a box and just hope I have another girl to wear them.
ANYWAYS... Madison was sitting on the floor next to my feet playing with some toys and all the sudden I looked down and she was gone!! I looked around and didn't see her, I looked in the hall, no Madi. I finally found her....

When I looked the first time I didn't see anything, when I came back in I saw her foot, When I got back with the camera she was on her way out. NO, she can't crawl yet, but she can roll everywhere and scoot. She was after a silly toy! DETERMINATION!

6 months...

In 6 more months she will be one years old!!! CRAZY!!
Madison loves:
Sucking her thumb
Taking a WARM bath
Sleeping with her bunny and any blanket
Her toes
Putting EVERYTHING in her mouth
Rolling over (she is all over the place)
Sitting up
Watching kids play
She HAS to see whats going on!! She gets distracted super easy!
Loves to sleep! She is like her Mother and NEEDS sleep or we are all sorry!

We love you Miss Madison! She is so entertaining and a joy to have! You're growing up very fast.

Chile...

I have had many email's, phone calls, and text messages concerning my brother Jared on his mission. He was in the earthquake but where he is currently serving it didn't get hit as hard as many other places. (Santiago: Mission Home) He was able to call home ad confirm his safety to my parents which they were very grateful for. He said that they had some damage to their apt. and more to the mission office. He said it was a big MESS. The Mission home where the Pres. lives was messed up also. The walls are cracked and the floors are all split. There was only one missionary Apt. that was pretty destroyed and it happened to be the Elder from Snowflake. No one was hurt though. Jared had to drive around at 4:00 in the morning to locate all elders and check on their safety. He said that was pretty scary because of all the after shocks. Some of the roads were out and some bridges broken. They have no water or electricity and they aren't sure how long it will take before it is fixed. This means we won't get our weekly emails!! Jared told us that the computers were thrown all over the room. I'm anxious to see pictures.

He was quite humbled and kept telling my parents to be grateful for what they have and know that in seconds our lives could be changed forever. He said they would be very busy with all the cleaning up and serving others. I'm sure he will be a big help....he likes that hard work of lifting, shoveling, etc.

I will keep you posted when we do receive pictures!

My team...

So I had to take a break from running for health reasons. I have been so bummed!!! While I wasn't able to run Spencer got me my DREAM jogging stroller! talk about a temptation! Well last week I was able to start running again, Let me tell you it is amazing!!! No drifting to one side, no flat tires, no sun in Madi's eyes, shocks, lots of storage! I always wanted a nice "Bob" jogger but hello they are a little on the expensive side to say the least. He found this one on Craigslist and I am so in love! More important Madison loves it too!!
This is my new running team!

Mary Poppins...

We heard that Mary Poppin's was coming to Phoenix so... for my Mom's birthday we decided to get her tickets. She was actually in the play Mary Poppin's when she was in college and played Mary Poppins so we only thought it was fitting to make a girls weekend get away.
Plans didn't turn out as planned but we had a great time anyways. Mom, Megan (my sis) and Karisa (my sis-in-law) all ended up not even being able to go. We marked our calenders far in advance to make sure we would all be able to go. We weren't aware that they were going to be called to help run the Cultural Arts Celebration for the Gila Valley Temple. We understood that took priority so we invited my Grandma Lunt, Aunt Jana and Cousin to come. We were all still so excited and last minute my other sis Amanda called and was sick, but it worked out that my Sis-in-law Jessica got to come.

The show was great!! It was longer than the normal Broadway show's but GOOD!!! It was a lot different from the movie but of course I still loved it! Thanks everyone for stepping in and making it fun!
