Easter Dress

So remember we couldn't take Easter dress pictures because she had chocolate all over it? Well, she wore it to church a little while ago so we took pictures. This is how they all turned out! She is such a little pistol when it comes to taking pictures. (who am I kidding she is always a pistol)
Say Cheese...

Okay, just kidding just smile...

Never mind, Let's try to just stand there...

She was eating those apples and when I tried to take them... yep she won! She still looked cute even though she is so silly! oh.. guess what, That dress was mine when I was little. My Mom made it for me when I was 2. My sisters all had the same dress just a different color. I thought it was perfect for Easter!

Random Cuteness

She is getting so big! I can't believe how fast she has grown up. Everyday she learns something new. We love her so much and enjoy playing!
This is her new bike that our neighbors gave to her. She loves it!
Is she in style or what? Beautiful bed head, my glasses upside down, talking on the phone, she loves wearing our shoes.
It makes me laugh how well these two get along. She LOVES this little guy. It actually makes me sick how she interacts with him sometimes. (ex. sharing a popsicle, drinking out of Boomers water, eating his dog food, putting his tail in her mouth, kissing each other on the lips, etc.)
She is such a good girl! She loves playing, singing, swimming, climbing, eating, and her Daddy.

Bryna Time....

On Thursday we spent the day in Sahrita with my cousin Bryna and her little guy Cole. We had so much playing with the turtles and had a great time swimming.
Here is Bryna, Cole, and Madison getting ready to go down one of the kid water slides.

This place was awesome!! It had a nice size family pool, lap pool, kids pool, and 4 big water slides, and a kids area with 4 slides, a huge bucket that dumps water, and all other fun water activities.

Next to the pool they also have lots of parks. The train was a favorite for both Madi and Cole.

It was so fun to see Bryna! We have always been close cousins and we hope to keep our kids close too! Madi and Cole are 3 months apart and our next babies will be around 4 weeks apart. How fun is that? Love you Bryna and it was so fun to visit!

Boots...

This little girl has a loves shoes. She always wants them on and gets really excited when she gets new shoes. She recently grew out of her size 4 shoes and is not in a size 5. We were lucky enough to have some hand me down shoes that I got out. We had to try on every pair of shoes and then show Daddy. Out of all the cute shoes that "fit" these are her favorite. My sis-in-law gave these to us, so I have been saving them for her.... when she fit in size 7! I would have to admit she looks cute and walks/runs great in them. (especially for being so big)
They have worked great in the backyard with all the dirt....
Perfect to wear swimming....
She got lots of compliments at the store...
But... NOT for church!
She loves these boots.

Look who is back...

Yep... BOOMER!!! Madison has a new best friend! As you can tell he loves her too. haha in this picture he looks really happy. She loves to hug him, kiss him, climb on him, and pull his stub tail, and wants him in sight. He has been great with her, he hasn't jumped on her or anything! He is super dirty so we gave him a bath and right after he went and rolled in the dirt. I can't wait for grass! The dirt drives me nuts!!

The House...

Here are some sneak peaks of the house!! We would love to have you come visit!!

Here is the entry way into the house.
From the back wall of the backyard.... Look at all that fun yard work! I'm so excited for it to be done!

Last trip...

This was our last little trip as a family of 3. (besides temple trips)
Here is what we did... (lots of pics)

Thursday morning1st stop- Tucson Medical Center= We stopped to see our new little niece Claire. She was born April 23rd in Safford and went on her 1st helicpoter ride a couple days later. Her oxygen levels were low and they had to keep her in the NICU for a little over a week on oxygen. She actually got to come home today. It was fun to see her and get to hold her. She is BEAUTIFUL!!
2nd stop- Forsberg Cabin (Munds Park) We met Nana and Granddad there. We got to go on a Ranger ride and eat a yummy dinner, PLUS see them 2 weekends in a row. 3rd stop- Mike and Rhonda's for breakfast with Nana and Granddad then we headed to the Grand Canyon. Back in November when we ran the 1/2 marathon Spencer won a 3 night stay at a hotel right on the rim.We didn't waste any time once we got there, we went for a 5 mile hike. Madi loved the back pack, thanks Kara! This was inside one of the Hopi houses. Madison liked this Indian guy, but she was really confused why he wouldn't say Hi.That night we enjoyed walking around and seeing all the deer and elk. Madi got so excited but to her they were all horses. She didn't care that it ws freezing outside, she just loved running wild. The next morning we decided to attempt a harder hike down the canyon. It was a beautiful morning for a beautiful hike.

This was a highlight of the the hike for Madison along with the birds. She said Hi to every hiker and bye. Everyone always got a good laugh. She always loved seeing the mules I mean horses.
This is how Spencer and I felt about halfway back up the canyon. It was a good climb!
After we made it up we treated ourselves to some ice cream and all 3 of us took a nice nap. That afternoon we went on a bus tour and played! This was Madi just having a good time playing! Doesn't she look beautiful!
We ended the trip by meeting Nana and Granddad at church Sunday morning and going back to the cabin to eat. Then we started the long ride home. We had such a fun trip and made lots of memories. It was nice to get away with no phones, computers, and other distractions. We got lots of exercise and enjoyed lots of time outside. It was a nice last little get away for our family. Now we are patiently waiting for our family to grow in about 5 weeks. We are so excited!
