Here is what we did... (lots of pics)
Thursday morning1st stop- Tucson Medical Center= We stopped to see our new little niece Claire. She was born April 23rd in Safford and went on her 1st helicpoter ride a couple days later. Her oxygen levels were low and they had to keep her in the NICU for a little over a week on oxygen. She actually got to come home today. It was fun to see her and get to hold her. She is BEAUTIFUL!!
2nd stop- Forsberg Cabin (Munds Park) We met Nana and Granddad there. We got to go on a Ranger ride and eat a yummy dinner, PLUS see them 2 weekends in a row.
3rd stop- Mike and Rhonda's for breakfast with Nana and Granddad then we headed to the Grand Canyon. Back in November when we ran the 1/2 marathon Spencer won a 3 night stay at a hotel right on the rim.
We didn't waste any time once we got there, we went for a 5 mile hike. Madi loved the back pack, thanks Kara! 
This was inside one of the Hopi houses. Madison liked this Indian guy, but she was really confused why he wouldn't say Hi.
That night we enjoyed walking around and seeing all the deer and elk. Madi got so excited but to her they were all horses. She didn't care that it ws freezing outside, she just loved running wild. The next morning we decided to attempt a harder hike down the canyon. It was a beautiful morning for a beautiful hike.
This was a highlight of the the hike for Madison along with the birds. She said Hi to every hiker and bye. Everyone always got a good laugh. She always loved seeing the mules I mean horses.
This is how Spencer and I felt about halfway back up the canyon. It was a good climb!
After we made it up we treated ourselves to some ice cream and all 3 of us took a nice nap. That afternoon we went on a bus tour and played! This was Madi just having a good time playing! Doesn't she look beautiful!
We ended the trip by meeting Nana and Granddad at church Sunday morning and going back to the cabin to eat. Then we started the long ride home. We had such a fun trip and made lots of memories. It was nice to get away with no phones, computers, and other distractions. We got lots of exercise and enjoyed lots of time outside. It was a nice last little get away for our family. Now we are patiently waiting for our family to grow in about 5 weeks. We are so excited!

Wow what a fun trip! I can't believe it will be 4 soon. That is so exciting! Can't wait for her to come. ;)
Fun trip! You are awesome doing all that hiking. Soon enough that little girl will be here...so fun! Madison is adorable and looking more and more like you every time I see her.
