TO SUM IT ALL UP.....

Well.. Well.. It has been a very busy month so far. (I know it's only the 17th) It has also been a great month full of fun things. Here is a quick summary of what has taken place:
-We're still training (when we can) for a triathlon in July
*my bike got a flat in the middle of a ride. (it was great)
*we got areo bars and clips for our bikes. (love them)

-Elder Haymore got his Mission call to: Chile Vina Del Mar Mission (reports Sept. 26)
*He went through the temple on Wednesday @ the same time as Bryna (cousin)
We went up early and got to meet some of the Forsberg family for lunch. It was fun to see all of them again! Thanks for arranging that!!!

-Bryna got married to Tyler Isaacson

-I played in a doubles volleyball tourny on Saturday. This Saturday I am playing in a doubles coed. (it's in the park)

-We Finished our yard and LOVE LOVE IT!!!! Spencer did a great job with the grass. It is soo-> nice not having that nasty dirt in the house.

-Spencer finished little league and is excited to have some free time! He just had his last softball game last night. They are now playing in the championship on Friday. He will be missing it because he is going to New York.

-Club Volleyball it over. We finished the season in 3rd in our division. They were such a fun team!

-Spencer played in a golf tourney and was awarded the longest drive.

-Our Neighbors moved and we are so excited about our new neighbors, Garrick and Kara!! (cousin)

-We got a Bunko group started. (yeah for girls night)

LAST THING.....

-I got a new running partner.

Spencer and I so far are loving it!! He is a great dog. We have been thinking about getting a puppy and really wanted a brown lab. He loves people, rabbits, running, and water. He is not a little pup like I pictured, he's 18 months old. So far ever night Spencer and I have enjoyed trying to teach him to fetch, sit, shake, roll over, and all that jazz. He is a smart dog and catching on fast. What Spencer loves most is he doesn't bark very often, or poop in the yard. (he saves it for when we are running) I love that he has not tryed to eat my flowers or mess with my garden. (We are still going to put a little fence to protect them.) the first night I got up several times to make sure he was not having a hay day in the garden. It is doing so good I would be ticked at him.

That is basically a quick update on our lives. It has been busy but great!

Always A GREAT Trip

You can always count on a good trip every summer to Rocky Point. All 7 kids were able to go there except my older brother. (scouts high adventure trip) Anyways... We had a great time! Be ready for a million of photos!

We eat at the same restaurant every year. They have amazing sunsets.

The owner actually remembers us so he always gives us stuff "on the house." This year we got 3 HUGE plates of clams. Spencer and I ate almost an entire plate.

Beach Bums! It was actually kinda cold. I was bummed I wanted to work on my tan.
It finally started to warm up the last two days we were there. (high 70's)

Are they cute or what! This was the only niece and nephew there. (We missed the other 4)

We LOVE having Paige close to us! We are so glad they moved back to Az.

It's always fun going to church there too! (even though its not a big difference from the Spanish branch) This is when we found out we were getting another temple in Phoenix. YEAH!!! (not to far from my in laws)
Amanda and I getting close to the ground to stay out of the cold wind.
p.s. That is Amanda's book not mine. One day I will learn to love reading.

The Boys LOST in Mad Gab the night before. We made the deal that whoever lost had dishes the next day. (that is what they're suppose to be doing)

Can't leave Rocky Point with out finding an octopus. (it's a baby)

We had a great time! It is SOOO nice to take a break from the world and go to the beach. No cell phones, worries, work, cooking(My Mom did it all)It is totally relaxing!

HUSBAND OF THE YEAR GOES TO....

SPENCER!!!!!!!!! So like I posted earlier I spent a week in Tucson babysitting. I had a BLAST! Although, I did miss Spencer. This was not our first time apart but I still missed him. I got back late Friday night and then Saturday was very busy.(we didn't even get to see each other) I met up with him that night at the adult session of Stake Conference. He took me out for ice cream after. It was great! BUT what REALLY made him the husband of the year was..... I came home to this....

An Electric PIANO!!!!

I love it! I have been wanting one for so long. His co-worker decided to sell hers so we got a SMOKING deal! We had fun singing and playing it all day Sunday.
BUT there is more to the surprise......

A LOBSTER dinner!!!!

We usually go to my Mom's house for Sunday dinner. However, during the week we are not home at the same time to eat together. He planned a dinner for us together that Sunday afternoon.
PLUS....

A NEW WATCH!!

This is not a regular watch. This is a runners best friend. (Katie would agree) It does EVERYTHING!!! We really have enjoyed training with it this week. We set it at a mile pace and we have to run at that pace. It keeps track where we go too. (GPS) You can set up workouts, keep track or millage, race the computer runner, keep a log of your runs. It will transfer everything to your computer too! I LOVE IT!!

WOW!! Is all I can say! I wonder if I should go out of town more often. ha ha He is amazing! This was like 3 years of Christmas, Birthday, and Anniversary! I love you Spencer.

Appropriate or Not......

So this week has been wonderful not going to lie. (Besides being away from Spence) I am in Tucson babysitting all 6 of the Bendall's. (Some of you may know them) Anyways long story short... They have two little girls (ages 3 & 4) WAY TOO CUTE!! They were playing then all the sudden I heard some little arguing. I walked back to see what was going on. I found two little girl with their pants dropped both trying to go to the bathroom. The conversation went like this...
Girl 1= "Marlee I was on the toilet and she pushed me off."
Girl 2= "No sure, but I really have to go bad."
Marlee= "Well, come with me and you can go in the other bathroom."
Girl 1= "No, I will wait for her to go.... HURRY!! You need to push. Are you trying to go poop?"
Girl 2= "Yes, I am pushing!" (Her voice and face were funny)
Girl 1=" Keep pushing it will make you feel better."
Girl 2= "I'm trying!...Okay here it comes. Watch out, Move!"
(The one girl had her head back trying to see if she was going.)
Girl 1= "Good Job, You feel better right?"
Girl 2= "Yes it's your turn now."

It was funny! I had to just sit and watch. I really wanted to go get my phone to record it. They are so cute and so good. I love these kids!

Sushi Lover???

How many of you like Sushi? Well I have had it about 5 times in my life. I LOVED it! The last time I had it was like 2 years ago. Spencer doesn't really care to much for it so we never have gone out to eat it. Well recently I have been really craving some. Spencer being the amazing husband he is took me out to a Sushi bar for lunch. I couldn't wait until it was lunch time. Well when I got the menu I didn't know what any of the sushi was. I had never really ordered it myself. I didn't know what kind I had in the past, but that was what I wanted. I made a quick call to my brother (who loves sushi) asked him for assistance. He recommended many kinds of sushi and rolls. I ordered a little variety. When I got my plate there were some interesting things on it. (no not the sauces) I asked the waitress what it was she replied that is the sushi you ordered. I was so confused. This didn't look like any sushi I had ever had before. Spencer instantly began laughing out loud hard!! When he caught his breath his comment was, "Enjoy your meal. I new you didn't like sushi, You don't like cooked fish." I did like sushi all the other times I had it. I was so confused. I kept seeing plates go by with sushi that looked like the kind I had before. Finally I asked the waitress what kind did that other person had. She replied those are rolls. Spencer began laughing AGAIN!
That day I realized that there was a difference between tuna sushi, and a tuna role, or what other people know it as real sushi and fake sushi. I guess I like the fake sushi. (the roles) I ordered those and they were GREAT!! Spencer really enjoyed laughing at me and telling everyone at work the story.

Once was lost but now FOUND!!

Okay, so when we moved to Sierra Vista we managed to not lose anything. (it's not like we had tons) BUT I managed to misplace these blankets. We looked ALL over! We searched My Parents, Spencer's Parents house and they were gone! Well last night they were discovered again! Spencer decided to look through a few boxes that were in the garage that were labeled...."Spencer's Stuff." I never unloaded all of them because some were just random stuff he wanted to keep. I asked him to go through them and look what showed up!!! I was SOOO excited!

To a lot of you, your thinking they are just blankets, but they're not! The first one all of my high school miscellaneous t-shirts. I had just finished that before we moved. I never even got to use it. Plus it has lots of fun memories. The second one my Mom made for me for Christmas. I had never go to use it either. The cool thing about this jean quilt is... the jeans are my grandpa's (from both sides), my Daddy's jeans, and mine from growing up! I LOVE IT!!! Anyways, as you can tell I am so excited that Spencer found them!! YEAH!!

Conference Weekend

I know it was a week ago, but I have been busy! Last Friday we got to fly up to Utah with my in-laws for conference. We got to Utah just in time for dinner. We ate at one of Spencer's favorite and definitely now one of my favorites, Tucanos. Seriously it was so good! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. (totally one of my highlights of the trip) It was WOW!! That night we stayed at Spencer's Uncle and Aunt's house. (thanks!) There were actually lots of cousins staying there too, so it was fun to get to know them all better. (I am lucky to marry into such a fun family)We had a good time together. The next two mornings we watched conference at the house and had tickets to the afternoon sessions. Spencer went to Priesthood with his Dad also.

During that time I got to spend like 3 hours with some of my bestest friends, Kristen and Mary Anne. It was so fun getting the updates on their lives. They are doing so good! P.S. you can tell we still haven't grown up by the picture:)(I can't wait until our big get together)

After the Priesthood session we met back together to eat dinner. (Sorry I was late)

Sunday was another great day of conference. It is just a different and wonderful feeling to go to the Conference Center. The choir is totally different live. It's beautiful! I enjoyed the entire weekend. It was a needed vacation and fun to spend time with the in-laws and friends.
