GO D-Backs!

Last weekend Spencer and I went to Phoenix. We had a really REALLY fun time! My favorite was just not having to worry about anything. No hurry to get back home, nothing going on, no plans, etc. It was great. (That doesn't happen around here) Friday night, we went to the Diamondback's game with some of our bestest friends Sammy and Jared. I ran with her at PV and we both got married and our hubby's get a long great and its so fun! It seemed like everytime we were going up to Phoenix they were going to be out of town or Spencer and I had something going on. It was fun to meet for dinner and go to the game. Saturday morning we got up and went to two of our nephews soccer games, sports authority, michael's, and ate lunch at olive garden. We planned to leave around 4 Saturday afternoon, until we stopped by my brother and sister-in-laws house. Our plans changed...... The boys babysat and watched a movie while Stephanie (sis-in-law) and I went shopping. We didn't end up leaving until 9:30 that night. We got to see Spencer's parents before we left which is always a treat (they were out of town). Thanks everyone for making it a fun weekend, we really enjoyed seeing friends and family.

We decided to celebrate our anniversary that following Saturday. We went to Tucson that morning. We had a BLAST!! Here is a sneak peak of our "anniversary"

Elder Haymore

So this was an eventful weekend for Spencer and I. It was busy but full of fun. This past week has been a little crazy now that I think about it. I will fill you in with the weekend fun another day. I have to hurry.
Well today was Elder Jared Haymore's talk in sacrament meeting. He is a WONDERFUL job. I was VERY impressed. He will make an amazing missionary! After we all had a fun time eating TONS of food and cookies (I had like 9) at my Parents house. Hope you enjoy some of the many pictures.
Of course we can't have a family function with the Boy's starting a little basketball, football, or baseball game.

Elder Haymore.... Girls I know he is good looking just wait 2 years!!

Part of the Family eating. He had a lot of support from lots of friends and family!!! It was a blast!!

Kids just want to have fun!
What a great group of friends... The ones that have not got married yet or aren't already on missions

Jared will be a great missionary! We are so excited for him! It will be a LOT different around here with out him. Nobody to have come help with yard work, tease the nieces and nephews, and just his fun personality will be missed. It was so cute watching my little brother with Jared to day. He cried the entire sacrament meeting, wanted to eat by him, stand with him, EVERYTHING!! Soak it up I guess. We are excited for him and know he will work hard!!! LOVE you Jared!!

This may not be to much of a surprise...

Okay, okay... This may not be a surprise to those of you that know me very well. Let's just say I am accident prone. Seriously every since I was born! It is not like I have the common accidents happen to me either. Maybe its because I use to be a total dare devil and fearless. I always get the weird things for example, having my ear close to falling off, having my front teeth knocked out twice, getting burned all over my face and body from a jam explosion, my right eye popped, shattering my gastrocnemius, ect. Okay, so the list can go on and on. Well folks I have another one to add to the list. Last Saturday I was canning salsa and marinara sauce I had TONS of tomatoes to use up. I have canned many times in my life (those of you that know I Mom is a canning freak) and had many great things come of it. This was the first time canning in my kitchen. Things were going great we made the sauce and put it in the steamer to seal. The timer went off I went to take the lid of the steamer off. Yes, I know you take the lid off so the steam goes to the back. (opposite direction as you) Well having my microwave close above my stove it made it a little difficult. I had to angle it different to get it off. I moved my body but forgot to move my arm. That steam gave me a big kiss!! Right on my arm! It burned at first and turned a little red. I kept on making the sauce. Thinking wow my arm burns for not having a big mark. Well a couple hours later. There was the steam tattoo on my arm. It really has not been very painful but just in the way. It is healing very nice. This picture is a good one. The nasty ones I am having problems with the computer. Maybe Later, if your lucky. It was beautiful and had HUGE blisters. My v-ball team loved to tease me. That is what I get for not using my brain.

It's not to late......

You can still sign up!!! Bisbee stair climb is coming up! Anybody that is interested I have room for you to stay!! It's only a 5k with 1000 stairs. Last year was my first year doing it. I hope to do it ever year now! It was a fun/ good workout. You do NOT have to run. Of course you always have your die hards but about half of the people walk it. It is really laid back and fun for the entire family. Click here for more information and registration.
http://www.bisbee1000.org/
p.s. You can't use the excuse "I'm not in shape, or I haven't trained." Because I have not done anything for a GOOD while! I am going to run today for the first time in 3 weeks.
Let me know if your in!!

Part of the Family??......

So we are so in love with our little dog!! We love it. I really have enjoyed having him to run with, play with, and walk. Spencer really enjoys snuggling with him and playing with him. One of the first things Spencer does in the morning is go sit outside for a little while and rub Boomers head. He is a cutie! We have now had him from 7 weeks. He is getting big fast! When we got him I quickly made the rule that he is NOT aloud in the house. We both agreed. Not that it's wrong to have an inside dog but I did NOT want one. (to much work) On certain nights when it is really raining and stormy I have allowed Boomer to stay in the Laundry room in his travel carrier. (it's big) That was as close as I would let him be "inside" the house.
Last week Spencer decided that he is going to train Boomer to stay on a towel on the tile. It really was a joke! He is a puppy and likes to explore. I told Spencer as soon as he gets off the towel he is outside. 10 min later he was outside. That night Spencer gave me a speech about how I need to give Boomer a chance and let him inside to be part of our family. I didn't agree. He was just fine outside. Spencer worked with him the next night to stay on the towel, it wasn't working. I thought he gave up until I came home tonight to this..........

Yes, it is stormy outside but I am just not wanting Boomer inside. Spencer thinks I am mean. He says he will train him to stay on the tile. (Right.....Just like he stayed on the towel) I was nice tonight and let him try to make it work. Boomer is a very very well behaved dog. He doesn't chew on anything to much, he doesn't bark much, and has never gone to the bathroom inside. He doesn't shed very much which is a HUGE plus. I just am not sold on him being inside. (I have good reasoning)I will admit when Boomer comes and cuddles with me it is hard to say No, he is to cute to get mad at. All I know is.. if I ever go out of town I'm going to come home with Boomer sleeping with Spencer!!! YIKES!!! obviously Spencer and I have strong opinions on this. What do you think?
